You’re invited to the annual QEH Big Day of Giving on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Over 24 hours, we’ll be collecting donations, celebrating everyone who is a BIG DEAL to the QEH, and sharing stories from grateful patients on our social media and on Ocean 100 FM and Hot 105.5 FM from 6am to 6pm.

There are many ways you can help us turn the tides of healthcare during the Big Day of Giving. You can make a donation, host your own fundraiser, and help us spread the word with your friends and family and sharing our #QEHBigDay posts on social media.
Funds raised for this year’s QEH Big Day of Giving will go towards ensuring hospital staff and patients of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital have access to the best medical equipment as well as clinical priorities for their healthcare needs.
Newer and state-of-the-art hospital equipment helps save lives, enhances patient care exponentially, and fosters innovation. It can also act as a magnet, attracting healthcare practitioners who want access to the best equipment so they can provide the very best care.

Absolutely! If you have an area of the hospital that you’d like to support, you can designate your gift. In the “Designation” field of our online donation form, select “other” and tell us which department is close to your heart.

Yes! Donations made online will receive their receipt via email. Donations made over the phone, at our office, or through the mail will receive a tax receipt in the mail (find our contact information here). If you become a monthly donor you will receive a consolidated charitable tax receipt each January with the total amount of your giving per calendar year.
