You’re invited to join our Annual QEH Big Day of Giving and make a BIG impact on healthcare at our Island’s largest hospital! Over 24 hours, we’ll be collecting donations from Islanders, celebrating everyone who is a BIG DEAL to the QEH, and sharing stories from grateful patients on our social media and on Ocean 100 FM and Hot 105.5 FM from 6am to 6pm.
This year’s Big Day of Giving is Wednesday, May 21st. Join us the next morning (May 22nd) as we announce our Big Day of Giving total live on air with our media sponsors, Ocean 100 and HOT 105.5!

There are many ways you can help us turn the tides of healthcare during the Big Day of Giving. You can make a donation, host your own fundraiser, and help us spread the word with your friends and family and sharing our #QEHBigDay posts on social media.
Funds raised for this year’s QEH Big Day of Giving will go towards ensuring hospital staff and patients of the Island’s largest hospital have access to the best medical equipment for their healthcare needs.
Newer and state-of-the-art hospital equipment helps save lives, enhances patient care exponentially, and fosters innovation. It can also act as a magnet, attracting healthcare practitioners who want access to the best equipment so they can provide the very best care.
Together, we can ensure our front-line heroes have access to the very best equipment, so they can deploy their superpowers to maximum effect.

Absolutely! If you have an area of the hospital that you’d like to support, you can designate your gift. In the “Designation” field of our online donation form, select “other” and tell us which department is close to your heart.

Yes! Donations made online will receive their receipt via email. Donations made over the phone, at our office, or through the mail will receive a tax receipt in the mail (find our contact information here). If you become a monthly donor you will receive a consolidated charitable tax receipt each January with the total amount of your giving per calendar year.
